Here you can find an extensive list of additional Racecheck FAQs, all in one place.
Racecheck is a powerful peer-review platform and review box that enables mass participation race organisers to collect, manage and use feedback from finishers, harnessing the knowledge from real athletes to drive more traffic to your site and grow race revenue year on year.
Sometimes referred to as a widget, The Racecheck Review Box collects and displays feedback and ratings of your event in a small panel in the corner of your chosen website page. See the difference between Free & Premium hereâŚ
Simply click the âAdd or claim an eventâ icon in the top right corner of the page.
Click the âWidgetsâ tab below your chosen event. Here you can select which Widget you want to install, we always recommend the Review Box as a minimum. Copy the code and add it into your websiteâs back-end code base (or forward it to your developer). Any future changes you make to customise the widget are done live and no code needs updating as it stays the same!
Click on the event name to see a feed of your feedback for that event. Here you can reply directly to the comments made by each race participant. Not sure how best to reply? We wrote this useful guide about how to respond to all types of race review - LINK TO ARTICLE
A register now button is a Premium benefit so it is only available to events on a Premium Membership. On premium and want to add your button or change the link that it takes you too? See how here!
A review must relate to the experience of having taken part and cannot mention disputes regarding refunds or circumstances that prevented a participant from being present on the startline. If you suspect that a review might be fake, be written about the wrong race or have reason to believe that it might be dishonest or incorrect then we have included a function to report a review to the Racecheck admin team. We will then check the authenticity and delete where necessary.
Racecheck award badges are a great accolade to share with your athletes and a genuine nod of approval from race finishers. Race finishers score your event across a selection of important aspects, which are then averaged together to deliver an overall score out of 5. To qualify for an award your race needs to have received at least 30 reviews for one race in one calendar year. Races can achieve either Gold, Silver or Bronze status.
